  • CAST IRON COOKWARE USE & CARE: Before first use - Hand washes. Dry immediately.
  • Season your cast iron cookware - Rub with a thin light coat of vegetable oil after every wash.
  • COOKING WITH CAST IRON COOKWARE: Your cast iron cookware can be used on induction, ceramic, electric, and gas cooktops, in your oven, on the grill, or even over the campfire. Do not use it in the microwave
  • Note: On glass or ceramic cooktops, lift cookware; never slide it.
  • Note: Use metal, wood, or hi-temp silicone utensils.
  • Note: Some foods may stick to new cookware (especially eggs). Use a little extra oil or butter until you've built up the seasoning on your cast iron cookware.
  • Note: Acidic foods like tomatoes, beans, and certain sauces can damage the seasoning finish and should be avoided until the seasoning is well-established.
  • Note: Cast Iron rarely needs to go above a medium heat setting when properly pre-heated. For the times when you do cook at higher temperatures, bring the pan to temperature gradually and add oil to it just before adding food to prevent sticking.
  • Note: Cookware handles get hot; use mitts. Use trivets to protect countertops from hot cookware.
  • CLEANING: After first use let it cool and wipe it down with a clean dry cloth or paper towel. If you prefer to use soap, then wash with mild soapy water and dry thoroughly and oil (season) immediately.
  • Note: Dishwashers, strong detergents, and metal scouring pads are not recommended, as they remove the seasoning.
  • RUST: Without protective seasoning, iron can rust when exposed to air. To remove any rust buildup, scour the rust, rinse, dry, and rub with a little vegetable oil. If the problem persists, you will need to thoroughly remove all rust and follow the re-seasoning instructions (below).
  • RE-ESTABLISHING YOUR SEASONED FINISH: Regularly cleaning as directed and maintaining the seasoning on your cookware should keep your Cast Iron in good condition, however, at some point, you may need to re-season your cookware. If food sticks to the surface or you notice a dull, gray color, repeat the seasoning process: Wash the cookware with hot, soapy water and a stiff brush. Rinse and dry completely. Apply a very thin, even coating of vegetable cooking oil of your choice to the cookware inside and out. Avoid using too much oil as it will result in a sticky finish. Place aluminum foil on the bottom rack of the oven (not directly on the bottom) to catch any drips. Set oven temperature to 350. 400 degrees F. Place cookware upside down on the top rack of the oven to prevent pooling. Bake the cookware for at least one hour. After the hour, turn the oven off and let the cookware cool in the oven. Store the cookware uncovered, in a dry place when cooled. Repeat as necessary.
  • TIPS: Gas flames should not extend up the sides of cookware.
    Match pan size to burner size. Don't use it in the microwave. When deep frying, fill cookware only to 1/3 of capacity.

Where We Ship

  • United States only. We currently do not ship internationally.

  • Some items ship from U.S. warehouses; others ship from our vetted partners and are delivered to U.S. addresses only.


Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Processing time: 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri) before a tracking number is issued.

  • Automated fulfillment: To deliver quickly, your order may be forwarded to the best available warehouse/supplier.

  • Multiple packages: Items in the same order can ship separately and arrive on different days. You’ll receive tracking for each parcel.


Shipping Timeframes & Costs

  • Estimated delivery (after processing): 5–10 business days for most U.S. addresses.

    • Rural areas, carrier disruptions, peak seasons, or severe weather may add time.

  • Rates: Calculated and shown at checkout. Any free-shipping promotions will be clearly labeled.

Heads-up: Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Once a package is in the carrier’s hands, unexpected delays (weather, volume, routing) are outside our control—but we’ll always assist.


Tracking, Address Accuracy & Delivery

  • Tracking: Emailed to you automatically when a label is created. If you don’t see it, check spam or contact us.

  • Address accuracy: Enter your shipping address carefully. Orders delivered to the address provided at checkout are considered fulfilled. If a parcel is returned as undeliverable/incorrect address, reship fees may apply.

  • PO Boxes / APO / FPO: Some items can ship to PO/APO/FPO via USPS; others cannot. If a chosen method isn’t supported, we’ll email you for an alternate address.

  • Risk of loss: Title and risk transfer to you upon carrier confirmation of delivery to your address.

“Delivered” but not received

  1. Check with household members, neighbors, building management, or mailroom.

  2. Look for a notice from the carrier and check the exact delivery scan time.

  3. If still missing after 3 business days, email contact@kitchendepot.store with your order number so we can open a trace and assist.

    • Packages marked delivered but subsequently stolen are outside our control; we’ll help with a carrier claim and may offer a case-by-case courtesy solution.


Order Changes & Cancellations

  • We move fast. If you need to cancel or correct an address, email contact@kitchendepot.store within 1 hour of placing the order.

  • After fulfillment starts or a label is created, we can’t guarantee changes. If the order ships, please use the Returns process below.


Returns & Refunds (15-Day Policy)

We want you to love your purchase—and we also need a clear standard for safety and fairness. Please read carefully.

Return window & authorization

  • 15 days from the delivery date.

  • Email contact@kitchendepot.store for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before sending anything back. Because we use multiple warehouses, the return address may differ by item—please do not “return to sender.”

Return eligibility

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging with all inserts/accessories.

  • For food-contact products (e.g., platters, containers, cutters, utensils): due to hygiene and safety, we cannot accept returns once opened unless the item is defective.

  • Opened non–food-contact items must be in like-new, resaleable condition (subject to inspection).

Non-returnable items

  • Used or opened food-contact items.

  • “Final Sale” or clearance items (clearly marked).

  • Gift cards or personalized items.

Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email contact@kitchendepot.store within 7 days of delivery with photos/video and your order number.

  • We will replace or refund promptly. Keep original packaging until the claim is resolved (carriers may request inspection).

Return shipping costs

  • We cover the return or provide a no-return refund (“keep-it”) when we are at fault (defective/damaged/incorrect).

  • You cover return shipping for change-of-mind, wrong size/color selected, or incompatibility not due to our listing error. If we provide a prepaid label at our discounted rate, its cost will be deducted from your refund.

Restocking

  • No restocking fee for unopened items.

  • For opened (but unused) non–food-contact items returned in saleable condition, a 10–15% inspection/repackaging fee may apply.

Refund method & timing

  • Refunds go to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the return.

  • Please allow 3–5 business days for us to process, plus your bank’s posting time.

Exchanges

  • The fastest way to get the item you want is to place a new order and return the original for a refund per the above.


Refused / Unclaimed Deliveries & Return-to-Sender

  • Refused, unclaimed, or undeliverable packages that return to us (or our warehouse) are treated as standard returns: original shipping costs and any carrier return fees may be deducted from the refund unless we were at fault.


Product Care & Safety Notes

  • Bamboo/Wood: Hand-wash only; do not soak or dishwash. Dry upright; refresh with food-grade mineral oil as needed.

  • Stainless Steel/Metal tools: Top-rack dishwasher safe only if the listing says so; otherwise hand-wash and dry promptly.

  • Always follow any care and use instructions on the product page/packaging. Keep sharp tools away from children.
